Stimulus Payments

The Internal Revenue Services has started sending the third round of Economic Impact Payments (EIP), also known as Stimulus Payments. Prosperity Bank understands the importance of the stimulus funds to our customers which is why we are committed to making the funds available as soon as possible.

The U.S. Treasury has stated that March 17th, 2021 is the first official date for eligible customers receive a direct deposit payment.

Please note, if you currently see a pending payment in your account - the payment will not go through until the stated effective date - which you can find in the transaction description.

The payments will be distributed in phases and will take several weeks to fully distribute. Your eligibility is determined by the government and can learn more from the IRS website.

Your deposit will be made in accordance with how you filed your previous taxes. If you do not have a bank account on file with the IRS, you will receive a check by mail.
