LegacyTexas Online Banking Information
On Monday, June 8, your online banking account will automatically transition to Prosperity Online Banking.
You will continue to enjoy all the basics you’ve come to expect when managing your accounts online. To make the transition, LegacyTexas Bank’s Online Banking will be disabled beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 5.
When you log in to Prosperity Online Banking for the first time, you will use your current LegacyTexas user name and password. You will have the option to create a new user ID and password once you have logged in.
What will transition over to the new system?
- All scheduled recurring transfers between LegacyTexas accounts will remain active.
- Bill Pay payees and 12 months of scheduled payment history will transfer.
- If you are currently enrolled in Online Statements, you will have access to up to 24 months of statement history. Note: Your full history will not populate until the end of June.
What will NOT transition over to the new system?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate the transition of all your online banking features, including:
- Account history for checking and savings accounts will NOT transfer to Prosperity Online Banking. To retain a copy of your current history, either use the Print feature in Account History to print individual pages or the Export feature to export into your preferred format. Note: these features will be disabled at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 5. As an alternative, you can take screenshots of each page through Sunday, June 7.
- eBills will NOT transfer, so you will need to re-enroll once you have logged in to Online Banking.
- Text and email alerts will NOT transfer and need to be recreated once you have logged in to Online Banking.
- Direct Connect enrollment with Quicken,® and QuickBooks® will be unavailable beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 5 and will need to be re-established on Monday, June 8 by updating the financial institution to reflect PROSPERITY BANK-NEW.
- Money Management accounts, categories and history will NOT transfer. Prosperity offers Spending, a similar budgeting tool, and your information will need to be re-entered.
- Zelle®will NOT transfer, so you will need to re-enroll in Zelle® through Prosperity’s Bill Pay service. Once you are signed up, you will need to re-enter all current payees.
- Transfers to External Accounts will need to be re-established through Prosperity Online Banking.

Internal Transfers
Online transfers scheduled between LegacyTexas accounts by 8 p.m. CST Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) will post immediately provided there are no account holds and the funds are available for transfer. Transfers scheduled after 8 p.m. CST will immediately appear in the account history but will not be processed until the following business day. For loan payoff payment transfers please call (972) 578-5000 as they cannot be processed online.
Once a transfer is submitted, a transaction results page with a reference number will be displayed. We suggest printing this page for your records. If the transfer amount exceeds the available account balance, an error message will appear.
You may also create and schedule both one-time and recurring transfers between your LegacyTexas accounts.

Prosperity Online Banking security goes far beyond that of most home banking solutions. Prosperity Banking features multiple levels and types of security throughout the product design, as well as during the customer’s banking session. Online Banking employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to ensure all data is encrypted, industry-leading fire walls, custom designed architecture, unique identifiers and passwords, and continual suspect monitoring and reporting. Consistent invalid ID attempts result in user “lock out” and suspect report generation. Customers will also be “logged off” after a period of inactivity. Designed and tested with and by industry experts, Online Banking security technologies will protect our customer.
Online Help
Once logged in to the Prosperity Online Banking session, our customer has access to an entire online help support. By clicking the “Help” tab, customers can reference indexed help, online glossary, and search capabilities. In addition, e-mail support, manned solely by Online Banking dedicated associates, is available during regular business hours.
